SMALL FOOTPRINT. ROOM TO BREATHE.
A small house
built around daylight.
A quiet place at the end of the garden.
One bedroom, an open living space, and a little more life outdoors.
A backyard architecture study01 / EXTERIOR
THE IDEA
Less house.
More of the outside.
Inspired by the 40-foot cabin in the reference photographs, Retreat 40 keeps the plan simple: a bathroom at one end, a bedroom at the other, and everyday living in between. Two wide openings connect the home to an oak-toned deck and a planted courtyard.
An imagined arrangement, not a measured survey of the supplied cabin.

02 / TWO EXPRESSIONS
Same home.
A different character.
A warm timber skin or a quieter, darker silhouette. Compare both on the same geometry, with your light and section settings intact.
